THe Lanark Leeds Home Builders Association (LLHBA) will be holding a meeting and dinner to discuss the building code changes on March 18, 2025. Aside from regular administrative members of the LLHBA, many different tradespersons will be at the meeting as well. As Algonquin College Perth already has a membership in LLHBA, a member of staff can attend with students which could open an opportunity to network with the trades in the local area. The dinner meeting is held in Perth, with a flat rate of $45 per attendee.

Benefit/Merit:
Students in the Heritage carpentry program who attend the meeting can network with possible employers and other tradespersons in the area to help them find summer jobs or employment after graduation.
