This event is a film screening showcase and industry networking event for the graduating students of the film and media production program. In the final term, the graduating class produced 4 short films to be premiered and celebrated with film industry folks, cast, family, and friends. The event begins at 7 pm with a networking “cocktail hour” between students of the program and Ottawa’s thriving film industry professionals. The industry networking event is followed by a red carpet for the crew and cast to enter the premiere of the films at 8 pm. After doors open, students, industry professionals, Algonquin faculty, family, and friends are invited for a viewing of the student’s final films accompanied by student awards and speeches.
