(However, as we discussed when I reached out about our unique situation with this grad party previously, we’ve already held the grad party and would be directing the funding to the Scriptwriting program in the School of Media and Design here at Algonquin College.)

During our program’s end-of-year Toronto trip, we held a formal dinner at Sambuca’s on Church that served as our grad party. As with last year, we tried to get an invoice from the restaurant beforehand, but they didn’t get back to us in time – instead, we collected our receipts to try to get reimbursed through the Scriptwriting program’s account.

We have 13 receipts from students who attended the dinner, so I put that as the number of students above and used that number to calculate the funding requested below (13 students x $25 per student for $325 total). Otherwise, we have 21 graduating students. I’m not sure if that affects the funding, but just in case!
